An Overview
MyLEAPS Initiative is committed to transforming the future of young people, particularly across Africa, by equipping them with the skills, opportunities, and support needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Through inclusive, market-driven training, we champion youth employment, entrepreneurship, gender equity, and civic participation. We believe that by investing in youth, especially those from underserved communities, we can close the opportunity gap, unlock their full potential, and cultivate a generation of leaders equipped to tackle Africa’s most pressing challenges.

Strategic Goals (2025-2030)
A roadmap to our five-year commitment, outlining the precise, high-priority outcomes we are committed to achieving
Pillar 1: Youth Skills & Employability
1. Train over 100,000 African youth
in future-relevant digital, entrepreneurial, and soft skills by 2030, with a focus on employability and economic self-reliance
2. Achieve a 60% post-program success rate
defined by participants securing employment, launching businesses, or continuing education within 12 months of
completion.
Pillar 2: Leadership Development
3. Launch the MyLEAPS Leadership Academy
to annually train 100 high-potential youth in leadership, innovation, and entrepreneurship, cultivating future change-makers.
4. Establish a pan-African Youth Advisory Council
by 2027 to actively engage young
people in governance, program design, and organizational strategy.
Pillar 3: Access & Inclusion
5. Establish 10+ Community Learning Hubs
in underserved regions to provide access to digital tools, mentorship, and career development resources.
6. Ensure inclusive participation,
with at least 40% female representation and active
inclusion of youth with disabilities across all programs.
Pillar 4: Ecosystem Strengthening & Sustainability
7. Build a network of 200+ strategic partners
including industry, academia, civil society, and government to provide mentorship, internship, and funding opportunities for youth.
8. Develop and implement a diversified resource mobilization strategy
by 2026 to secure multi-year sustainable funding from grants, corporate partnerships, and social enterprise.
Pillar 5: Impact & Scalability
9. Create a robust M&E framework
aligned with SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 8 (Decent Work), using real-time data to track and communicate impact
10. Scale operations to at least 20 African countries,
prioritizing high-need regions with low youth employment and digital access.
Pillar 6: Innovation & Community Engagement
11. Develop an interactive digital learning platform
by 2027 that complements physical training, providing modular courses, mentorship matching, and community networking.
12. Create a MyLEAPS Alumni Network
